Sightings report image

Date: 10/05/2024

Hello Journey North. Eurasian collared dove has lost it's mate to predation. It is sitting on the feeder looking down at all the feathers. Cooper hawks most likely. About 2000 ring-billed galls flew from north to south over Old town this morning. Sitting outside on my bench I just saw a night hawk and a bald eagle. There are still two hummingbirds here. Just spotted more ring-bills flying over. It has been warm and windy here today. Up in the 90's. Weather in eastern Nebraska could be warm one day and snow the next.
