Just can't get a good photo what's still hete. Or even a close up thru binoculars.
It's been nectaring for over a week from flowers, especially yellow Hamelia, red. Coral, purple porterweeds, purple gurantica.
It doesn't have an all white front or a grey front like rubythroats. It came to JB feeder right off after rehanging new sugar water at 5 p.m. yesterday. Came again this morning checking feeder.
We never get rubythroats migration all the way thru end of October that I see in my past years of reports here at this location. Last RUBYTHROAT travelers are on 14th of October, (usually.)
