I have seen what looks like a small immature male hummingbird only nectaring from flowers both in my front yard and my back yard. I do not know if what I see is ONE bird. I only see one at a time!
I ALSO HAVE AN ADULT FEMALE HUMMINGBIRD THAT DRINKS FROM FEEDERS IN THE FRONT AND THE BACK. Again, I don't know if it is the sane bird in both places. The back yard bird(s) is not afraid of me at all!
Front yard birds are leery.
Also I found a CAT HUNKERED DOWN IN THE SHRUBS UNDER A FRONT YARD FEEDER! I MOVED IT. Last year I saw my last hummingbird October 15th.
