Very large. Flew in a circle above me three times then landed on the leaf of a plum tree in my backyard a few feet away. Stayed about 45 seconds basking in the sun. I quietly wished it strength and health in its journey
Flew off over the fence and quickly returned for a few more circles then flew off. I’ve lived here over 15 years and never saw a monarch. I grew up in Michigan in the 1950s where there were a lot of them
