I’ve had a difficult time reporting with this site previously. Severe weeks ago I saw 2 female monarchs in my monarch friendly garden for the first time this summer. I collected 42 eggs. I lost one caterpillar. On October 5, I released 8 Monarchs and on October 8 I released 10 Monarchs. I released them late in the day and then the temperature dropped. They took flight early on the 9th when the temperature warmed.
