Photo shows small section of the many roosts in the trees tonight. Roosting in the upper branches of pecans, mimosas, and cottonwoods. Today 105 Monarchs were tagged by Llano Estacado Texas Master Naturalists. If we had taller members, we could have tagged more.
Most were healthy, hearty butterflies. A few were ragged or knicked by birds.
