A third cold front overspread the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions,bringing cool to cold nights.This caused a sweet gum tree,a native species,in a planter in Carroll Creek Park to begin changing,with about 10% of its leaves turning bright red.It also put forth its twin red seed pods.It was looking beautiful.
