A third cold front overspread the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions,bringing cool to cold nights.This caused a mature smooth sumac,a native species,to begin turning on the Martin Marietta Quarry lands.About 20% of its leaves turned bright orange.It was looking beautiful.
