Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/29/2024

Number: 50

I was amazed to see dozens of monarchs nectaring on my abelia shrubs and other native flowers at Palo Pinto Lake. They roosted in the oak trees nearby. This was more than I've ever seen in over 20 years. They stayed for about 2 days then continued on their migration.
