I was traveling through West Texas yesterday on my way home to Austin. I stopped in Ozona, TX, for my dogs to get some fresh air at the Ozona Visitor Center and noted a group of about 10-15 monarchs drinking from a puddle of water at the corner of the center. I wasn't able to get a photo because I was managing my two dogs.
This was around 3:00pm, it was hot but dry, with a light breeze blowing.
