Sighted a single adult monarch butterfly, in Hesston, KS, 10/9/24 at 6:58 PM CST (sundown).
It was very tired and fluttered to the pavement. I moved it to a nearby mound of asters (planted there by the elementary school in an intentional pollinator garden, hooray!).
