Monarch that had just come out of chrysalis and was drying his wings. another who seemed to be born the day before and was actively on flowers/nectar. I have 1 milkweed plant in my yard that was unsuccessful last year but much to my surprise, success this year! so the one with the chrysalis, it was attached to the underside of a nearby gladiola leaf. So now I will always plant glads near the milkweed
