End of Season Summary for fall 2024 captive reared. Tulsa OK.
Total of 32 monarchs (24 female, 8 male) released between 9.25.24 and 10.9.24
9 were found on milkweed, 23 were found on honeyvine milkweed. These were a mixture of both egg and small pupa. During pupa stage, both milkweed and honeyvine were offered. All but 3 chose to eat the honeyvine. They absolutely loved the small white flowers on the honeyvine stems.
