I saw a monarch today! It was feeding on marigolds and what is left of my zinnias. I almost got a picture of it. The wind was gusting 25 to 40 mph today and it was 79 degrees. Right when I was zooming in to take the picture, a giant gust of wind blew and scared the monarch over the fence. I never saw it again.
