A friend gave me two caterpillars on October 5. One immediately went into chrysalis. Today, after 29 days of wide ranging high and low temperatures, this beautiful adult Monarch emerged. Now, we will be keeping a close eye on the other chrysalis, which is 4 days later than the first.
