A seventh cold front overspread the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions,bringing cool to cold night temperatures.This caused a red maple,a native species,in a Resource Conservation Zone to turn 80% bright red.It was quite beautiful.The Frederick Planning Commission is holding a hearing for this area on the Preliminary Plat/Final Site-Preliminary Forest Plan at a date to be determined.
