At 2:20 this afternoon I spotted this female nectaring on the few remaining flowers that I have. This was a butterfly bush. She has rested in the top of several small trees in the yard and returned to the butterfly bush several times today and is still there at 3:30.

I don't believe I have ever seen one at my house this late, but the temperatures are still warm (76 degrees today) and we have had little cold weather or rain recently. Starting tomorrow we are expected to have a series of rainy days but remain pretty warm for November.
