In the early hours of 11/5, the crysalis that I found a few weeks back was just about ready to open up for the butterfly to eclose, but one pleat opened and split, causing the unemerged butterfly to become stuck. It was evident that it tried to come out, to no avail. It was a lovely day, about 75 degrees F. Very windy
