While trawling, I observed ~7 (+/-2) monarchs crossing Bay Round (aka Round Lake on some maps - about 5 miles south of Myrtle Grove Marina, Plaquemines Parish) on 16 November. Observations were made between 1100-1400. Monarchs were headed in S/SW direction at about 5-10ft above water surface and were not making much progress against the wind. Sorry, no pics.
