Sightings report image

Date: 11/17/2024

Number: 1

A lone monarch (M or F? hard to be certain) was spied on Sunday 11/17/24 at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, AZ. This photo was taken by my fellow docent, Gary A., as the monarch was nectaring on blue mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum). This is the first monarch documented in our gardens since 12/05/2023.
