We have Monarchs in our yard year-round and see them almost daily, unless the temperature drops below around 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit. We are growing many varieties of nectar sources and several types of milkweed for them. We participated in an OE study with Univ. of Georgia this paspt summer, and all 24 of our samples were infected with OE. My hypothesis is that maybe Monarchs are evolving to tolerate the parasite. We can only hope....
