Today we counted about 35-40 monarchs in a grove of trees on Charleston Rd. The monarchs don't seem to be migrating away from this area. There were another 6-10 flying about the area. The sun had just broken through and so most of the monarchs were either flying about the trees or sunning themselves on the lower tree branches facing the sun. It was 64 degrees, and partially cloudy.
