There has been a juvenile bald eagle sitting on the power line across the street from our house. It's definitely a juvenile bald eagle and not a hawk because I saw both of them just seconds apart, and the size difference was tremendous! The hawk had just dive-bombed our cat, and I think the bald eagle may have had the same idea but didn't get as far down.

I have seen a couple of mature bald eagles within a couple miles of our home during the past year or so. I'm thrilled to know they're here! It blows my mind that they're recovering so well!
