Just as I thought male Rufous  come in January... it looks like again this year now. I was waiting in front room 10 a.m. for a delivery. First saw him hover at feeder. He's sits on yellow sophra plants twig in photo.

I bet y'all will have Rufous soon also. He's  guarding the feeder above plants. Bad photo  thru window  screen.

Just a note he could have been here for a week as I saw a flash of him go to Hamelia outback from office window. Weather has been miserable cold rain since new year's day. Hard to figure hummingbird sighting. I didn't report earlier until I actualky see a Rufous.
