Male Rufous came at 7 a.m. we have had chilly in mid 30's daily. Rufous in photo now coming about every 30 minutes to feeder since 7. I'm observing to see how often. A feeder heater is ordered because forecasters still estimate Houston will have more than 3 days bellow freezing and possible flurries 19th thru 22.

My friend and I in Woodlands noticed our Rufous disappeared in that 2021 no power/snow. This time they are saying grid will be ok and I'm saying a reporter that is a big fan of heaters in North Carolina is dancing bc we have a feeder heater on way
