Banging around making lunch today male Rufous in photo heard me in kitchen then took off.
All of sudden a lot of song birds are on feeders outback I haven't seen in these foggy mornings, heated up 80's two weeks weather. And I see Robins flying out front in oak trees early morning. We have a cold front stalled near San Antonio, Texas about to come into Houston this Tuesday 11th.
Got up to 87 today. No more heat for a while but it's helping potted sakvias, Meyer lemon. Orange trees, avacado tree blooms coming on for the Rufous. If he figures to nectar on them. Last years Rufous and Rubythroats figured.
