I heard robins singing, and saw one perch on an apple tree in front of me, quite early this winter. We have staghorn sumacs on our land: I wonder if the robins stayed with us this winter for the trees' fruits.

This is not the first winter when we have seen them. In 2021, robins sang on 12/31!
