First Returning Killdeers this AM. Also Canvasback ducks on adlacent wetland, Hooded mergansers and many any more white fronted geese than any year in the 50 I have lived here, BY FAR! everal ringbilled guls flying towards the main lake, first of them I have seen. Eagles perching in the taller trees along lake shore waiting for ice out, as I am fairly confident of a winter kill with the very low water levels
