It was a warm (high 70's), sunny, windy day. I was away from home till late afternoon. I observed two male monarchs flying around and nectaring at that time. One was nectaring from false garlic flowers (Nothoscordum bivalve), while the other was nectaring and sunbathing on our blooming pear tree. It was wonderful to see them!
