The first one I saw was at the local plant nursery about 6 miles from my house. When I got home later today my grandson pointed out the first Monarch in our yard for this year. we were excited. Could not tell what gender either one was they didn't land long enough for me to get a good look. The mark is on my house but the Monarch at the nursery was 6 miles west of me. Hope this helps.
