Largest count of this spring migration so far today in Matagorda--we are directly on the coast with stiff breezes most of the day but the numbers in flight increased all day. Photo is taken at sunset in our Canary Island date palms where at least a dozen or more were beginning their evening roosting, circling, with several finally settling.
