I saw two hummingbirds -- one colorful and one drab -- land in my flowering plum tree in my backyard about 5:40 pm local time. One was drab in color (brownish), the other was fairly brilliant orange-yellow (compared to the pink flowers in the tree) with a white throat. They lighted on the tree, flew around a bit, and then left after 30-40 seconds. I believe it was a pair of Rufous hummingbirds. I was approximately 30 feet away.
