Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 04/09/2025

Number: 25

I have been away for three days and the temperatures before I left were in the upper 80s, but I did not see any butterflies or eggs at that time. I came back this morning and I see a plethora of eggs all over the common milk weed, butterfly weed, And tropical milkweed plants that were in pots. It is obvious that they probably lay the eggs probably April 6 just because of the length of the leaves that have grown out, etc. It has been very cold over the last three days with rain Occasionally, and wind since April 6.
