I observed a monarch mated pair at 1pm today. I was backing out of our driveway when I saw the pair fluttering over our front yard. I stopped and got out to watch. They flew up and around a leafy elm tree and that's how I lost them. I looked for awhile, but had to get going, so unfortunately no photo.

Both before my errands and afterwards, I observed multiple monarchs flying around in the morning and early evening.
