First hummingbird. Male black-chinned. Same date as first last year. 5 minutes after I sat down I heard him. Then he swooped in and did a survey before sampling one of my feeders.
Later I saw 2 male black-chins half heartedly jostling. They were probably tired from traveling to give it too much effort, LOL. Welcome back!
