As of today, I have 23 chrysalis and 6 caterpillars. I have been raising caterpillars for over a month now. I will be doing a Monarch butterfly program at our local library this Saturday, April 26th. On March 23, 2025, I saw three caterpillars on the milkweed plants I planted. We have a community butterfly garden (also a Monarch Waystation) in our subdivision which my started seven years ago. It has been so warm here in North Florida the Monarch butterflies were in my garden in early March.
