Milkweed (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 04/24/2025

I noticed this little Common Milkweed specimen a few days ago when I was sweeping and accidentally broke off a leaf and the milk started flowing. It is coming up from the roots of a specimen that grew quite well in this spot last year. Temperatures have been unseasonably warm for the past week. This is in a little micro climate. It gets a south sun exposure and radiating heat off the brick. Approximately 8 cm tall.
