The Ruby-throated hummingbirds are in Whitby, Ontario! This morning, while standing beside this feeder shaping a hook to hang orange halves for the orioles, this colorful male fed while my hand was only 6 inches away from it. This photo didn't capture the intensity of its colors. Its beauty, and most importantly, sharing the splendor of its closeness has brought sunshine to this cloudy day.
