Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 05/18/2025

Number: 10

3:03pm, it's a cool day in the 50s with sun after a week of 80s. I was removing a couple of wayward common milkweed plants which are sprouting all over the yard and boulevard and I took a look and there was an egg on a six inch tall milkweed. I quickly found 10 eggs scattered on other milkweed plants nearby. I didn't see the Monarch lay them. I think I'm done removing milkweed plants until the end of the season.
