Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 05/27/2025

Number: 1

Bottom center of screen, very tiny, 3 days old. This is one that was on a 4 inch milkweed shoot I pulled out of my grass, in order to cut the lawn. It may be molting right now, so when done, it will go outside on a large common milkweed plant. I have learned they are much healthier when they live outside. Temps are moving up into the 70s, been cooler and rainy last few days.
