Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 06/26/2025

Number: 5

After first caterpillar found the end of May, this stealthy monarch butterfly (unseen) did come back and lay more eggs.

Found these large caterpillars each on a 3 inch stem in the front lawn, with no bigger plants near for them to continue eating. I moved them to a potted swamp milkweed in a screen house, next to my garage. 3 captured in photo.
