Rufous LAST of 2025.

Over 3-4 days 90-95% of the Rufous have stopped coming to my feeders. Nectar consumption- it was 10 cups a day - has plummeted..

Now the Anna’s are returning to fill the void the Rufous’ departure created. It’s interesting how these Anna’s gracefully accommodate the Rufous annual summer invasions.

The Rufous are on their way.
I’m looking forward to see if their journey South gets described by reports from the Rockies and further.
