Saw quite a few smaller roosts tonight, roosts of 4,10,10,12,20,20,25,30,40. Quite a few flying around as I checked early. Unbelievable mosquitos here lately. We had 6.6" of rain in the first 11 days of August and the prairie remnant with trees where I see Monarchs is very lush and vibrant. Many meadow blazing star along with goldenrod and sunflower. Saw quite a number of Monarchs in our farmyard today, seems like some were day roosting.
