After finishing up at the Snetsinger Butterfly Garden, we intended for that to be our last stop for our Milkweed Blitz efforts today. However, while heading home to Bellefonte, we decided to try driving by another area where we have often seen Common Milkweeds in the past. As in years past, some of the fields along Seibert Road in Benner Township had an abundance of Common Milkweed plants. We did not stop today to take any more photos, as they would be pretty much the same as the one in my 2023 milkweed sighting.
At the time (i.e., 4:10 PM EDT) the air temperature was 79°F, the dew point was about 50°F, the humidity was about 36%, a light breeze of about 5 mph was blowing from the NE under sunny but hazy skies, and the air pressure was 28.80 inches and slowly dropping.
