We still have one very well-fed male ruby throat. He is so round by now with all his long drinks at the nectar feeder, we've nicknamed him "Chubs." This Sunday (8/31) afternoon he appears to be the only male left. Since the fighting has stopped, I also saw two females at the feeder today who have been absent for about a week. I have a feeling Chubs is about to head out any hour now.
