Total – 51 monarchs. Roosting in of a common hackberry (Celtis occidentalis).
Cluster of 50 resting on branches 7 meters above ground on northeast side of the tree. 1 lone monarch at 6 meters above ground, also on northeast side. Other than a few monarchs flying around trees, there was almost no monarch movement observed after 1845 hours.

Mostly cloudy just before sunset. 62 degrees F (16.67 C). Winds at 8 mph from the west / northwest, with gusts up to 18 mph. RH 58%, Dew Point 47. Sunset scheduled for 1918 hours.

Adjacent to Henslow Trail, near Iron Bridge Trailhead, Iron Bridge Prairie Restoration, Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie (U.S. Forest Service).
