50 monarchs observed in clusters on west side of an eastern black walnut (Juglans nigra) after sunset. Not much movement in the clusters. After sundown and getting dark.

78 degrees F (25.56 C). Sun has set. Light winds at 7 mph with gusts up to 14 mph from the east, RH 69%, Dew Point 67. Sunset scheduled for 1902.

On Henslow Trail near at Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie (U.S. Forest Service).
