I found this Monarch during my walk around the hayfield this evening. It appears to have emerged today. Whenever I'd found it, it had a large piece of its chrysalis shell stuck to the outside edge of its right wings. This caused the wings to remain crumpled up. I removed the shell & this photo was taken ~ 45 minutes later.
