Monarchs were noticed at about 6 pm beginning to fly and congregate near the pine windbreak. Just after sunset I counted more than a dozen mini clumps of 6-20 monarchs as well as several individual or 2-3 together. Early the next morning I caught many lower monarchs between my fingers to tag. I released them on a dying milkweed near the garage where the sun was due to shine soon.
