Point Pelee National Park evening Monarch hike total.
After a day of steady migration off the tip, it was unsurprising that there were very few located hanging about in the evening. Weather conditions conducive to the Monarchs continuing on their journey. See separate report under Peak Migration.
According to the weather app on my phone at 19:00 it was sunny and 21°C,
Dewpoint 17°C, relative humidity 80%, wind W 8 km/h, gusts to 14 km/h, barometric pressure steady at 101 kPa
Observations done with the naked eye.
Monarchs located on the east side of the tip in the lee of the wind.
